Introduction
The Organization
Ultrason Musique is a cultural club based in Lyon, FRANCE, that produces and promotes
musicians from the area.
It was created by musicians who wanted to boost the "smaller"
musical scene of Lyon and give more opportunities to musicians who wouldn't know where
to start. They offer advice, expertise, opportunities and equipment to practise and/or
tape their creations.
The Image
The name is obviously a reminder of sound, but the fact that "Ultrason" is singular
is not innocent. It shows a goal of unity, one impulse that spread wider and wider.
So it became important to me to also show that the club was the focal point, the
centre of this wave, this core of a bigger story.
The image of an echo and a wave
came quickly, and with it, the resemblance to a vinyl. But what would be the centre of it?
