Introduction
The Collective
The Rhône-Alpes Collective of International Solidarity Organisations from
Migrations was created years ago.
It currently brings together 55 associations
from the Rhône-Alpes region, representing 20 countries of origin in Africa, Asia,
and Latin America, and present in five of the region's eight departments.
These associations carry out international solidarity projects in diverse fields
such as agriculture, water and sanitation, waste management, health, training and
education, and the creation of economic activities (particularly with women).
They also carry out projects related to the local development of the Rhône-Alpes
region through artistic, cultural, social, and civic education activities.
Their Actions
COSIM supports the region's social and solidarity economy organisations (OSIMs)
throughout the entire co-development project cycle, focusing on access to funding,
monitoring, evaluation, and knowledge sharing. It also supports their organisational
activities and the development of initiatives in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
COSIM provides training and conducts field visits to address the needs of
OSIMs and their target audiences, providing appropriate educational tools.
COSIM
also organises thematic meetings and connects them with regional and national funders
and partners. Furthermore, the organisation leverages OSIMs' experience and facilitates
networking among them to enhance their knowledge.
