Fair in celebration of every diaspora in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region.

Introduction

A COSIM's initiative

COSIM's objective was to organise an event and a platform for the diasporas of Lyon and the surrounding area. It provided dedicated time and space for them to showcase themselves, share their cultures, and raise awareness and provide information on humanitarian and solidarity issues.

A spotlight on Culture

Three days dedicated to the various diasporas: African, Asian, Latin American, etc. This will include meals, concerts, shows (theatre, Afro-Caribbean wedding shows, dance), and conferences. Prestigious guests will take turns throughout the weekend to entertain the Forum participants.

Description

Since the fair was a COSIM initiative, it was important to incorporate visual elements from the Collective. The colour orange, representing solidarity and unity, and the world map were essential to the project's foundation. The F and D in the forum form a circle that symbolises both unity and the world.

The typography is intentionally simple. The triangle motif evokes cultural patterns found in various African, Latin American, and other art forms. The shapes structure the layout and guide the eye when reading the visuals.
