Concept of a limited anniversary edition of the poet's works.
For the 170th birthday of Arthur RIMBAUD, I envisioned a new edition of his full works. Two books: one assembling his poems and the other his letters, written throughout his life and adventures.
An imagery and layout that would highlighting a concept that transcends Rimbaud's writings: Escaping, Running away...
In the first book, the poetry collection The Yellow, he illustrates the impetuosity, audacity, and pride displayed in his youth, his fights, and this as soon as he began to create.

Each page has a unique touch: its own brushstroke, the ink's mark, and
the hand's movement, fleeing.
In the second book, the purple calls for a
more emotional way he conducts the last part of his life, and for the mystery
around his trips and adventures in Africa.

Here, the brush strokes are thinner, more controlled and deliberate, and steady.
